A
former member of the Stanford University undergraduate admission
team, Deborah Claymon combines an insider's knowledge of college
admission with the writing and editing expertise of a professional
journalist and writing teacher. She helps students with any credentials
achieve admission at their top college choices.
A mother of two, Deborah appreciates the whole family’s needs, and leads
parents through the college process with minimal anxiety. Deborah works one-on-one
with her students. She tailors her guidance to each student’s unique needs,
helps them put their best self on paper and personally directs all application
content.
As a journalist, Deborah has worked for the New York Times, San Jose Mercury
News and other publications, and was a managing editor for CNBC television. Deborah
has also taught writing at the high school level.
Deborah holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Stanford University and a Master's
degree in English from Northwestern University. She is an appointed member of
the Board of Directors of the Stanford Alumni Association.
